LOS ANGELES, CA – On Tuesday, April 9, 2024, the cast and creators of the highly anticipated Prime Video series FALLOUT stepped out on the red carpet at the iconic TCL Chinese Theater to celebrate the dazzling world premiere of the series. Cast attendees included: Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, Xelia Mendes-Jones, Sarita Choudhury, Dave Register, Johnny Pemberton, Rodrigo Luzzi, Annabel O’Hagan, Frances Turner, Chris Parnell and more.

Executive producer Jonathan Nolan also attended, alongside executive producers Lisa Joy, Athena Wickham, Bethesda Games Studios’ Todd Howard and James Altman, and showrunners/writers/executive producers Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner. Additional notable attendees also included Aaron Paul, Jaden Smith and Nathan Fielder.

The historic LA venue was rife with visually stunning social photo moments, one of which was an apocalyptic version of the Hollywood sign. This is only the second time in the last five years that the city has approved of this type of use of the sign, largely due to the series paying homage to the transformed city setting throughout the season.

Before the screening of Episodes 101 and 102, Head of Amazon MGM Studios, Jen Salke, welcomed a buzzing audience of top tier press, tastemakers and fans with warm remarks. The screening was met with rounds of applause and shouts of delight, with the night’s festivities continuing into the celebratory reception on the carpet, which had been transformed into a Wasteland-themed cityscape. The afterparty was also DJ’d by the one and only Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy, which made for an exciting evening.

BASED ON THE VIDEO GAME: Fallout

SYNOPSIS:  Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. Two-hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind—and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.

Ella Purnell is Lucy, an optimistic Vault-dweller with an all-American can-do spirit. Her peaceful and idealistic nature is tested when she is forced to the surface to rescue her father. Aaron Moten is Maximus, a young soldier who rises to the rank of squire in the militaristic faction called Brotherhood of Steel. He will do anything to further the Brotherhood’s goals of bringing law and order to the wasteland. Walton Goggins is the Ghoul, a morally ambiguous bounty hunter who holds within him a 200-year history of the post-nuclear world. These disparate parties collide when chasing an artifact from an enigmatic researcher that has the potential to radically change the power dynamic in this world.
