New York, NY – Tonight, Tuesday, December 5, Peacock celebrated the world premiere of MR. MONK’S LAST CASE: A MONK MOVIE with the ultimate reunion of the original cast, executive producers and guest stars after fourteen years since the MONK series’ finale at Metrograph NYC followed by an after-party.
The movie’s big screen debut kicked off with a star-studded red-carpet premiere celebrating the movie adaptation of the hit show MONK. Cast and crew were in high spirits as the day kicked off with news of the movie’s two Critics Choice Awards nominations, including “Best Movie Made for Television” and “Best Actor in a Limited Series or Movie for Television.”
Guests included four-time Emmy Award-winner, Star and Executive Producer Tony Shalhoub, Executive Producer, Creator, Writer Andy Breckman, Executive Producer and Director Randy Zisk, Executive Producer David Hoberman, and stars including Jason Gray-Stanford, Melora Hardin, Caitlin McGee, James Purefoy, Austin Scott, Brooke Adams and more.
Special guests included Caroline Aaron (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Marilu Henner (Taxi), Melanie Mayron (Thirtysomething) and Polly Draper (Thirtysomething) and more.
