Netflix Announces “El Eternauta” will release in 2025

Based on the graphic novel “El Eternauta” by Héctor G. Oesterheld and Francisco Solano López

The first audiovisual adaptation of the iconic comic El Eternauta, created by Héctor Germán Oesterheld and illustrated by Francisco Solano López, is coming to Netflix in 2025.

Directed and created by Bruno Stagnaro, a Netflix production along with K&S Films and stars Ricardo Darín.

El Eternauta will consist of 6 episodes and is written by Bruno Stagnaro and Ariel Staltari.

Synopsis: After a deadly snowfall kills millions, Juan Salvo and a band of survivors fight against an alien threat controlled by an invisible force.

Netflix Announces New Animated Series “Mafalda” by Juan José Campanella

Oscar-winning director Juan José Campanella is working on the adaptation of the iconic comic, Mafalda, by renowned Argentine cartoonist, Quino.

Campanella will be the director, screenwriter, and showrunner of the animated series. 

Gastón Gorali is the co-screenwriter and general producer, and Sergio Fernández is the production director.

Mafalda is an original Netflix production with Mundoloco CGI.
