“Percy Jackson and the Olympians” to Launch First Episode on Hulu, Concurrent to Premiere on Disney+ December 20th
Disney+ Original Series “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” 1-Episode Event
Hulu announced today that it would launch the first episode of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” on the platform, simultaneous to its launch on Disney+ on December 20th. The Disney+ Original series launches with a two-episode premiere on Disney+, followed by new episodes weekly, so viewers can continue the series on Disney+. The first episode will be available on Hulu through January 31st.
Since the release of the trailer, it has garnered 90 million video views and nearly two million engagements across “Percy Jackson” Series, Disney+, and talent accounts.
SYNOPSIS: Percy Jackson is on a dangerous quest. Outrunning monsters and outwitting gods, he must journey across America to return Zeus’ master bolt and stop an all-out war. With the help of his quest mates Annabeth and Grover, Percy’s journey will lead him closer to the answers he seeks: how to fit into a world where he feels out of place, and find out who he’s destined to be.
CAST: The Disney+ Original series stars Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson, Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase and Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood.
