Hollywood, California – 27 de octubre de 2020 – Netflix anuncia hoy que ha llegado a un acuerdo con Ubisoft para desarrollar contenido basado en la franquicia de videojuegos aclamada internacionalmente, Assassin’s Creed. La primera serie en desarrollo está programada para ser una adaptación épica, de acción en vivo de género; actualmente se está buscando un showrunner. Jason Altman y Danielle Kreinik de Ubisoft Film & Television serán los productores ejecutivos.
Bajo el acuerdo, Netflix y Ubisoft se basarán en la icónica biblioteca de historias dinámicas del videojuego, con un estilo masivo global para las adaptaciones de las series de acción en vivo, animadas y anime.

UBISOFT’S SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE BECOMES MULTI-PLATFORM, INTRODUCES BETA WITH STADIA AND AMAZON LUNA
Play Across Multiple Platforms, All with One Subscription
SAN FRANCISCO — October 27, 2020 — Today, Ubisoft’s subscription service becomes Ubisoft+ and adds a multi-platform model, beginning in beta in the US this November with Amazon Luna and by end of year with Stadia. Formerly known as UPLAY+, Ubisoft+ will continue to offer subscribers unlimited access to a growing catalog of more than 100 games on PC. For $14.99 per month, Ubisoft+ includes premium editions, new releases such as Assassin’s Creed® Valhalla, Watch Dogs®: Legion and Immortals Fenyx Rising™, classic titles, and additional content packs*.
“With Ubisoft+, our vision is to provide more options for our players to access their favorite Ubisoft games, wherever they are and whenever they want,” said Alexia Brumé, associate director, subscription. “This beta period with Stadia and Amazon Luna is just the beginning. We’re excited to offer subscribers the chance to check out the premium editions of our fall lineup so they can pick up and play across multiple platforms, all with one subscription.”
Starting November 10, the beta will begin for subscribers in the US at no additional cost beyond their current subscription at $14.99. Once subscribers request and receive an invitation to Amazon Luna early access, they can link their accounts and start playing. By the end of the year, they will also be able to play select Ubisoft games on Stadia (no Stadia Pro subscription required). During this beta, players can enjoy Ubisoft games across their devices and benefit from cross-platform progression for upcoming titles, including Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on day one.
Ubisoft+ on Amazon Luna and Stadia will feature a growing library of Ubisoft titles, including premium editions* of upcoming releases like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion and Immortals Fenyx Rising as well as beloved games from Ubisoft’s catalog.
