Liam Neeson’s “THE MARKSMAN” – Former Marine and now hardened Arizona cattle rancher Jim Hanson (Neeson) just wants to be left alone as he tries to make a living in an isolated area along the border. But everything changes when he sees little eleven-year-old immigrant Miguel (Perez) and his mother (Ruiz) on the run from a gang of assassins sent by a ruthless drug cartel. After an armed confrontation, Miguel’s mother pleads with Jim to take her son to Chicago and bring him to safety with his family. Defying law enforcement, Jim and Miguel hit the road and slowly forge an unlikely friendship as the cartel’s unstoppable killers follow the trail of blood on their heels.
