Eiichiro Oda, Creator of the Global Phenomenon ‘One Piece,’ Updates Fans on the Live-Action Version, Coming Soon to Netflix
Today, Netflix and Shueisha shared a letter from Eiichiro Oda giving fans an update on the LIVE-ACTION version. In his letter, Oda-Sensei highlights the team has “been hard at work this entire time” with all entities involved “working in sync.” Oda-Sensei shared that the crew is “brimming with love for ONE PIECE” and “burning with passion” as they are “in the final process! Right now! Of finishing all 8 episodes.”

The ONE PIECE fandom is celebrating the birthday of Monkey D. Luffy along with series creator Eiichiro Oda, also known as Oda-Sensei, who just dropped a personally-penned letter to fans assuring them that the production is “burning with passion.”
ONE PIECE is the bestselling manga series of all time, and the Netflix series will be the franchise’s first live-action adaptation.
