Apple TV+ hosts world premiere for the second season of global hit series “Bad Sisters” in New York City, with Emmy Award nominee and BAFTA Award winning creator and star Sharon Horgan

“Bad Sisters” season two premieres globally on Apple TV+ Wednesday, November 13

Tonight at the Metrograph in New York City, Apple TV+ celebrated the world premiere of the highly anticipated second season of “Bad Sisters,” the award-winning comedic drama created by and starring Emmy Award nominee and BAFTA Award winner Sharon Horgan. The eight-episode second season will make its global debut on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, followed by one episode weekly on Wednesdays. The season two finale of “Bad Sisters” will debut on Monday, December 23 at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET.

Attendees at the “Bad Sisters” season two premiere included executive producer and star Horgan, alongside series stars Eva Birthistle, Sarah Greene and Eve Hewson, executive producer Dearbhla Walsh, and more.

Two years after the “accidental death” of Grace’s abusive husband, the close-knit Garvey sisters may have moved on, but when past truths resurface, the ladies are thrust back into the spotlight, suspicions are at an all-time high, lies are told, secrets are revealed and the sisters are forced to work out who they can trust.

A delicious blend of both dark comedy and thriller, the critically acclaimed series welcomes new and returning cast members to its second season, including Fiona Shaw, Owen McDonnell, Thaddea Graham, Barry Ward, Michael Smiley, Saise Quinn, Daryl McCormack, Yasmine Akram, Jonjo O’Neill, Peter Claffey, Deirdre Mullins, Lorcan Cranitch, Liz Fitzgibbon, and Justine Mitchell.

The series is executive produced by Horgan, Faye Dorn and Clelia Mountford for Merman. Dearbhla Walsh also serves as executive producer and director. Additional executive producers include Bert Hamelinck, Michael Sagol, Dave Finkel and Brett Baer. Finkel and Baer adapted the first season with Horgan from the Belgian series “Clan,” which was created by Malin-Sarah Gozin. Gozin also serves as an executive producer. “Bad Sisters” is produced by Merman Television and 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios.
