Criticólogos:
How was it recording in this humidity in this beautiful island? How was your experience? About shooting back to back movies in Puerto Rico.
Kelly Greyson:
I love Puerto Rico. I loved everything about it. I love the culture and the people and the environment. And any time I can be near the ocean, even if I don’t get to get in there because I’m working too hard, it just makes me happy. I’m pretty sure I’m part mermaid, so if I can be near the sea, it just is like, yeah, I love territory so much and I love being warm. I don’t like being cold and just I just think I’m so friendly and caring and everything about Puerto Rico. I’m a fan.
Criticólogos:
Preparing yourself physically and mentally for both of them. What was your routine?
Kelly Greyson:
I as far as like action I live fit all the time like it is literally a part of my life. I’m like competition ready every day of my life. And so it’s so much fun to be able to jump into a role where that’s highlighted, right? Where it’s like, Oh, this makes sense. Well, this is where the hell you are. This makes sense, right? And so I am actually my favorite just because of that. And I always do my own stunts like Can’t Double Me, I’m doing my own stunts. So anyway, I really, really enjoyed that and the stunt team was incredible to train me and in the choreography and all of that, some of my face.
And actually, you know, Centineo is the unsung hero in this, right? Because they just take all the hits. And so and this is no exception. But they were so awesome, too. I got stunt coordinators number and every time I had a break, every time there was a lunch break or anything, I was like, Can you work with me? And he would help me, you know, just honing specifics and that kind of thing. So yeah. And then the rest of the role I think was just so fun because I got to play a double agent. And so it’s like multiple lines and one that’s what film is like. You get to live other lives within your one lifetime and this is like multiple legs within the same film.
So yeah, it was, it was exciting and I think it was a fun process and it had, it made me really be on point because not only the action but the kind of dual. Different personalities. And so when you walk on set, those are coming in sequence. So you have to be like, okay, so today, where am I in the script? Which, which part of my playing right now? So yeah, it was fun. It was a good challenge.
Criticólogos:
What can people expect from this second one?
Kelly Greyson:
Well, I mean, you don’t want to have too many expectations because I want you to be surprised. So I don’t want to fulfill that for you. But I can’t tell you too much. But, I think so. It’s actually super intriguing, and I think there’s definitely the dynamic of the complete surprise, which I’m not going to tell you. But as characters, we kind of got to be sort of more authentically double agent in the first one and move into kind of authentically being more grounded in the second film and, you know, developing a relationship and all these other things. And then there’s kind of that next level of drama when now you have a love interest and then you have danger, and then you have all these unexpected benefits and sort of people returning from the grave and you know, just like all these things where you’re like, O-M-G, what just happened? And so, yeah, it was definitely it’s a whole thing.
And then, you know, I don’t know what I should say because I want to read to watch it. But yes, there were there was just masterfully played roles by certain characters that I’m not going to tell you came back in and it was just I love films that make you think right, where they make you have that internal dialogue and that quandary of what, who’s who, what’s what, what do I actually think? What is the moral dilemma? You know, and it’s good. It’s really good at that. You know, you just sit there like, do you love him or hate him?
Criticólogos:
The last three movies you have been working back to back with Bruce Willis? What maybe what can you tell us that we don’t know about him already? And why were you able to grasp from him?
Kelly Greyson:
Yeah. Well, I think, you know, what people don’t see is me is off camera. Obviously, he’s a legend. He’s incredibly an amazing actor. They had this crazy, amazing career for decades. And I think what makes somebody the most amazing is who the real me? Who are you as a person? And I think that’s what I love the most about working with Bruce once, just like he was as a person, like our interactions off camera, like before we walked into a scene talking about the scene and just having very real human moments and interaction and just caring about the people that were around and those kind of things.
