“SPACE EXPLORERS: THE ISS EXPERIENCE – ADAPT” TO BE SHOWCASED ON OCULUS VENUES AND OCULUS TV FOR “OCULUS VR SPACE DAY”.

Episode One of the Immersive Series will Screen on A 24-Hour Loop in Oculus Venues and On Demand Via Oculus TV from May 7th Through May 10th, 2021.

In celebration of National Space Day, EMMY® Award-winning creators Felix & Paul Studios and TIME Studios, in collaboration with Oculus from Facebook, will offer screenings of Episode One of the groundbreaking immersive series, Space Explorers: The ISS Experience exclusively on Oculus TV, and its live content streaming entertainment service, Oculus Venues.The ISS Experience is the largest production ever filmed in space. Episode1: “Adapt” will stream on a 24-hour loop available to anyone with an Oculus Quest, Quest 2, or Oculus Rift VR headset.

Space Explorers: The ISS Experience, Episode One, “Adapt” documents the arrival of a new crew of astronauts aboard the International Space Station as they discover the joy, wonder and danger of living in space. Years of training come into play as the crew overcomes disorientation from microgravity, responds to potentially catastrophic emergencies, and learns to operate as a close-knit team. The extreme nature of this unique shared experience brings them to form family-like bonds. The 24-minute immersive experience was filmed entirely in Space using Felix & Paul Studios’ specialized 3D, 360-Degree Space Camera, and features astronauts Anne McClain, David Saint-Jacques, Christina Koch and Nick Hague who served as cast, film crew and narrators in this groundbreaking immersive production.

The screenings will be viewable in fully-immersive virtual reality (VR) on Oculus Quest, Quest 2 and Rift, and are available for purchase in the Oculus app store HERE, Friday, May 7, 12AM PT – Monday, May 10, 11:59PM PT.
