Criticólogos:

What is it about Snake Eyes that stood out from the GI Joe’s movies?

Larry Hama:

It was good that they gave him a real back story, you know, that is really fleshed out. In the comics his back story activity till he is in the service is very vague. Having this field define things going on there really helps to more the character, & I like that yes.

Criticólogos:

In your opinion, how was those two characters [Snake Eyes & Storm Shadow] were handled in this cinematic representation?

Larry Hama:

I like the fact that the critical reasons for their friendship and their relationship it is intact from the comics, you know there is this whole thing of Loyalty and jealousy, and how they affect each other and the fantasy about the sort of brotherhood and obligation. If you really examine it as the themes are very consistent from the comic to the movie.

Criticólogos:

Well, what other character would you like to see in the big screen involved from the comics from GI Joe’s arc?

Larry Hama:

Oh well, I would like to see more of the Baroness and Destro. I think, they are a great combination and we have not really seen Destro, the way you should be.
