Disney+ Shares Photos From “Lego® Star Wars: Rebuild The Galaxy” Special Screening Event
“Four-Piece” Animated Special from Lucasfilm Debuts Tomorrow
Disney+ released photos from tonight’s special screening held at El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood for Lucasfilm’s animated special “LEGO® Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy.” Voice stars Gaten Matarazzo, Tony Revolori, Bobby Moynihan, Dee Bradley Baker, Ahmed Best, Helen Sadler, Jake Green, Matthew Wood, Piotr Michael and Shelby Young were joined by Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit (writers/executive producers), Chris Buckley (director), James Waugh, Jacqui Lopez and Josh Rimes (executive producers), and Michael Kramer (composer) to greet excited fans.
In “LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy,” the entire Star Wars Galaxy gets completely mixed up when an ordinary nerf-herder, Sig Greebling (Gaten Matarazzo), unearths a powerful artifact from a hidden Jedi temple. He finds himself thrust into adventure in a new, wondrously wild and twisted version of the galaxy where good guys are bad, bad guys are good, and the fate of all depends on Sig becoming the hero who can put all the pieces back together.
The talented voice cast features Gaten Matarazzo, Tony Revolori, Bobby Moynihan, Marsai Martin, Michael Cusack, Ahmed Best, Mark Hamill, Naomi Ackie, Anthony Daniels, Kelly Marie Tran, Billy Dee Williams, Dee Bradley Baker, TC Carson, Trevor Devall, Jake Green, Jennifer Hale, Phil LaMarr, Ross Marquand, Piotr Michael, Kevin Michael Richardson, Helen Sadler, Matt Sloan, Matthew Wood, Sam Witwer and Shelby Young.
Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit are the writers and serve as executive producers along with James Waugh, Jacqui Lopez, Josh Rimes, Jill Wilfert, Jason Cosler and Keith Malone. Chris Buckley directs with Daniel Cavey & Dan Langlois producing.
“LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy” consists of four parts, which all debut tomorrow, September 13, exclusively on Disney+.
