BARDO, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths screening y Q&A en el Museo Nacional Smithsonian del Latino Estadounidense en Washington DC

El 30 de noviembre, Netflix se asoció con el Instituto Cultural Mexicano y el Museo Nacional Smithsonian del Latino Estadounidense en Washington DC para hacer una proyección en la Motion Picture Association of America de BARDO, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths, la nueva película del cinco veces ganador del Premio de la Academia® Alejandro G. Iñárritu, (BirdmanThe Revenant). La proyección fue seguida de un panel de preguntas y respuestas con los actores Daniel Giménez Cacho y Ximena Lamadrid, moderado por la periodista y crítica de cine Anne Hoyt Wakefield. Además, asistieron al evento los siguientes dignatarios y líderes: el congresista Joaquín Castro, Félix Sánchez (Hispanic Foundation for the Arts), Jorge Zamanillo (Smithsonian), Ix-Nic Iruegas (Instituto Cultural Mexicano) y Gail Mackinnon (Motion Picture Association of America).

El actor mexicano Daniel Giménez Cacho interpreta a Silverio Gama en una actuación inolvidable. 

Rodada en deslumbrante 65 mm por el nominado al Premio de la Academia® Darius Khondji (AmourSe7en) y escrita por Iñárritu y Nicolás Giacobone (la ganadora del Oscar® Birdman: Or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance y Biutiful), BARDO, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths es la primera película de Iñárritu que se filma en México desde el éxito internacional de 2000, Amores perros. La película cuenta con la dirección de arte del diseñador mexicano ganador del Oscar® Eugenio Caballero (ROMAPan’s Labyrinth) y el diseño de vestuario de Anna Terrazas (The DeuceROMA).

BARDO, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths ya está disponible en los cines y se podrá ver en streaming a partir del 16 de diciembre de 2022 en Netflix.

BARDO, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths screening and Q&A at the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Latino in Washington DC

On November 30, Netflix partnered with the Mexican Cultural Institute and the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Latino in Washington DC to host a screening at the Motion Picture Association of BARDO, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths, the new film from five-time Academy Award® winner Alejandro G. Iñárritu (Birdman, The Revenant).  The screening was followed by a Q&A with actors Daniel Gimenez Cacho, and Ximena Lamadrid and moderated by journalist and film critic, Anne Hoyt Wakefield.  In addition, the following dignitaries and leaders attended the event, Congressman Joaquin Castro, Felix Sanchez (Hispanic Foundation for the Arts), Jorge Zamanillo (Smithsonian), Ix-Nic Iruegas (Mexican Cultural Institute) and Gail Mackinnon (Motion Picture Association).

Shot on resplendent 65mm by Academy Award®–nominee Darius Khondji (AmourSe7en) and written by Iñárritu and Nicolás Giacobone (Oscar®–winning Birdman: Or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) and Biutiful), BARDO, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths marks Iñárritu’s first film to be shot in Mexico since 2000’s international sensation Amores Perros. The film features production design by the Oscar®–winning Mexican designer Eugenio Caballero (ROMAPan’s Labyrinth) and costume design by Anna Terrazas (The DeuceROMA).

BARDO, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths is available in theaters now, and will stream on December 16, 2022 on Netflix.
